Stijn Put

Stijn Put is an experienced professional currently serving as Director of the Portfolio Management Office and Director of Support Functions for Corporate R&D at Umicore, a position held since April 2003. As a member of the management team at the Olen site, Stijn Put leads the global start-up of new anode materials for rechargeable batteries and previously managed key programs related to Li-ion materials. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at K.U.Leuven while completing a PhD in Materials Science. Stijn Put holds both a PhD and a master’s degree in Applied Sciences from KU Leuven and completed additional education at Vlerick Business School.
