Joyeeta Sen is a seasoned professional in the field of special education, currently serving as a Senior Program Lead, Senior Special Educator, and Senior Trainer at Ummeed Child Development Center since March 2009. In this role, Joyeeta Sen conducts assessments, designs learning goals, and collaborates with children with developmental disabilities and their families. As a content developer, Joyeeta Sen has created and delivered educational materials for various stakeholders. Previously, Joyeeta Sen has worked as a Special Educator and Trainer providing therapies and teacher training, and as an Educational Specialist at the New York Institute of Special Education, where assessments and collaborations with educators were key responsibilities. Early career experience includes a role as a Special Educator at Akshar School. Joyeeta Sen holds a Master's in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Multiple Disabilities from the Spastics Society of Eastern India, and a Master's in Child Psychology from Calcutta University.
