Alex Berger is the Associate Director of Environment, Health & Safety at Umoja Biopharma. Alex has over 17 years of experience in the field of environmental health and safety. Prior to joining Umoja Biopharma, Alex worked for Pfizer, Novartis Gene Therapies, AstraZeneca, and Hospira. Alex has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside.

Alex Berger reports to Andy Scharenberg, Co-founder and CEO. They are on a team with Ashley Yingst - Scientist, Allogeneic Cell Therapy, Alissa Brandes - Principal Scientist, and Andrea Rosa - Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.
