De'Von T Walker is an accomplished educational and community leader with extensive experience in promoting cultural awareness and academic success. As the Founder of Play Black Wall Street since September 2016, De'Von has focused on educating families about the legacy of Black Wall Street through innovative games and experiences. Currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for Umoja Community Education Foundation since July 2021, De'Von enhances educational experiences for African American and other students. Previous roles include Assistant Director of African American Recruitment at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Community Engagement and Outreach at the University of California, Riverside. De'Von's dedication to education and community service is supported by a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, and a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida.
