Alex Schmidt

Alex Schmidt has a diverse range of work experience, predominantly in web development and management roles. They most recently worked as the Director of Web Development at Umpqua Bank, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Columbia Bank, where they served as the Director of Web Development & Internal Communications from February 2020 to May 2023, and as the Web Development Manager from October 2018 to February 2020. Alex also worked as a Software Engineer III at Catholic Health Initiatives from August 2012 to October 2018, as a Web Developer at Franciscan Medical Group from November 2010 to October 2012, and as a Web Developer at Harrison Medical Center from July 2007 to November 2010. Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Programs Lab Manager at Central Washington University from June 2005 to July 2006 and as an Assistant Manager at Regal Entertainment Group from 2000 to 2005.

Alex Schmidt earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in IT Management from Western Governors University in 2012-2013. Prior to this, from 2003 to 2007, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Central Washington University.
