Kelli Sepulveda

Kelli Sepulveda has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit and project management. Kelli began their career at AMI Semiconductor as an intern from October 2005 to July 2008. Kelli then worked at Idaho State University as a Computer Analyst from August 2008 to June 2013, followed by a role as an Application Security Analyst from October 2010 to September 2010. From June 2013 to September 2014, Kelli worked as a User Security Administrator at Holiday Retirement.

In September 2014, Kelli joined Umpqua Bank as a Senior IT Auditor. During their tenure, they led small teams in technology audit engagements and developed an Internal Audit Project Assurance Program, which provided independent health checks on high-risk enterprise projects and initiatives. Kelli then progressed to the role of VP, Audit Manager, where they transitioned the team to an agile audit operating model and increased collaboration to target the highest risk audit work. Currently, Kelli serves as the SVP, Deputy Chief Auditor at Umpqua Bank, where they advise the Chief Audit Executive and leads the development of internal audit strategy and management plans. Kelli has successfully revitalized the reporting format for executive leadership, regulators, and the Board of Directors.

Throughout their career, Kelli has obtained various professional certifications, including CIA, CISA, CRISC, and PMP. Kelli has demonstrated expertise in advising on audit strategy, leading teams, developing talent, and evaluating and mitigating risks.

Kelli Sepulveda holds an MBA in Project Management from the Idaho State University College of Business, obtained in 2013. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Idaho State University in 2011. In addition to their education, Kelli Sepulveda has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and the PMP - Project Management Professional certification.
