Ron Farnsworth

Ron Farnsworth is the EVP, Chief Financial Officer at Umpqua Bank. Ron has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Ron started their career at KPMG in 1993 as an auditor. Ron then moved to Security Bank Holding Company/Independent Financial Network in 1996, where they served as the EVP/Chief Financial Officer for five years. In 2001, Ron joined Umpqua Bank, where they have served as the Chief Financial Officer for the past 18 years.

Ron is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Ron earned their Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon.

Ron Farnsworth received their BS in Accounting from Portland State University - School of Business.

Ron Farnsworth reports to Cort O'Haver, President & CEO. They are on a team with Joel Brandenburg - EVP, Chief Auditor, Kevin Skinner - EVP, Head of Home Lending, and David Shotwell - EVP, Chief Credit & Risk Officer.
