Catherine Bailey

Catherine Bailey is an experienced finance and tax professional currently serving as the Exco: Head of Finance, M&E and Insights at Umuzi.org since April 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing financial stewardship and implementing strategic initiatives for sustainable growth in a nonprofit focused on digital upskilling for youth. Prior to this, Catherine held various leadership roles at The Networking Company, leading operations and project management. Additionally, Catherine has significant expertise in tax consulting, having served as a corporate tax consultant for Nubis.tax and presented workshops for Deloitte. Catherine's career also includes managerial positions at Deloitte South Africa and academic roles as a tax tutor at The University of Pretoria. Catherine holds advanced degrees in taxation and statistics from The University of Pretoria.
