Carsten Zielke Dr.

Carsten Zielke, PhD, has extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors, currently serving as a member of the Connectivity Advisory Panel and Vice-Chair of the User Panel at EFRAG, along with being a member of the Insurance Accounting Working Group and the Project Task Force on possible EU NFRS. Since June 2023, Carsten has been a consultant for the Federal German Environment Agency, assisting in sustainable finance initiatives. Carsten also holds the position of stv Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender at Bochumer Versicherungsverein a.G. and operates Zielke Research Consult GmbH as Geschäftsführer since 2013. Previously, Carsten has held significant roles at Société Générale and Bear Stearns, focusing on insurance asset management and strategic research. Academic credentials include a PhD in Insurance Economics from University Göttingen and a Maitrise de Sciences de Gestion from Université Paris Dauphine.
