Caroline Zickgraf

Caroline Zickgraf serves as the Deputy Director at The Hugo Observatory since October 2016 and holds multiple key positions, including being a member of the UNFCCC WIM Ex-Com Non-Economic Losses Expert Group and the Scientific Coordinator for the HABITABLE Project at the University of Liège. Additionally, Zickgraf contributes as a lecturer at Sciences Po, teaching a course on 'Environment and Migration.' Previous roles include consulting for the UN Environment Programme and the Migration, Transformations, Sustainability (MISTY) Project, where governance was a focus area. Zickgraf's research and consulting work frequently addresses the intersections of climate change, migration, and conflict across various institutions. Zickgraf holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Liège and has completed degrees at Leiden University, John Cabot University, and Michigan State University.
