Eduardo Cardoso Filho is an experienced professional specializing in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and climate change policy. Currently serving as an Associate Programme Officer at the UNFCCC since August 2009, Eduardo provides technical support for GHG accounting standards in the energy sector and previously contributed to capacity building in Latin America through trainings on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Previous roles include Technical Officer at RCC Bogota, focused on supporting CDM projects and low carbon strategies, and Carbon Project Manager at ARCADIS Tetraplan, along with positions at ECONERGY and CETESB that involved developing and monitoring CDM activities and environmental inspections. Eduardo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and is currently pursuing studies in Renewable Energy at Loughborough University.
