Enam Akoetey-Eyiah is a prominent figure in the renewable energy and environmental sector with extensive experience in leadership and project management. As the Africa Director for The International Tracking Standard Foundation since August 2021, Enam focuses on the growth of the renewable attribute certificate market and awareness among governments and organizations in Africa. With a history of advising the Volta River Authority on carbon emissions and sustainability, Enam has significantly contributed to carbon reporting in Sub-Saharan Africa. Enam also founded reNew, Ghana's first environmental goods start-up, achieving significant milestones in reforestation and carbon trading. Previous roles include project management for World Bank initiatives and leadership positions in child care and recruitment. Enam holds multiple advanced degrees including an LLM in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Birmingham and an MBA in Education Leadership and Management.
