Maria Covell

Maria Covell is the Founder & CEO of Capital City Events, a top DMC in Washington providing custom-designed special events and destination management services since 1997. Previously, Maria worked as the Fashion Merchandising/Special Events Manager at Hecht's Department Stores from 1990 to 1996, and also as an Advertising Coordinator. Maria graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications.
