Eric de Brabanter

Eric De Brabanter is an experienced economist specializing in environmental statistics and sustainable development. Currently, Eric serves as the Lead Reviewer for National Communications at the UNFCCC since 2012 and has been an economist at the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development since November 1998. Eric has contributed to numerous initiatives such as the EIONET Network at the EEA, served as a member of Eurostat's DIMESA, and acted as a delegate for the OECD in environmental policy. Previous roles include teaching at Université Libre de Bruxelles, managing projects related to business statistics at Eurogramme, and leading the SME project at DEBA-EEIG. Eric holds a Master’s degree in European Economics and a Degree in Economics from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
