Kusum Lata Jain

Kusum Lata Jain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of carbon advisory services and microbiology. Currently serving as a Program Officer at UNFCCC since February 2009, Kusum has previously held the position of Senior Consultant at Deloitte from May 2007 to February 2009, focusing on business development and execution of services related to the Clean Development Mechanism. Prior to this, Kusum was a Fellow at TERI from 1993 to 2007, also working as an Associate Fellow at TERI from 2005 to 2006. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from TERI (affiliated with Jiwaji University) awarded between 2003 and 2007, and an MSc in Microbiology from Indian Jobs and Careers attained between 1998 and 2000, complemented by undergraduate studies at Delhi University.
