Chiara Magrelli

Chiara Magrelli currently holds the position of Associate Programme Management Officer at the UN Environment Programme since February 2025, having previously served as an EU Policy Analyst at UNEP FI where contributions were made to sustainable finance initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Assistant at the European Commission, focusing on sustainable finance and EU Taxonomy, and as a Project Manager for both SUSC Sustainability training & consultancy and the Illicit Trade Group at the University of Groningen. Chiara has also worked as Member Organisations Officer for Youth and Environment Europe and held multiple positions during academic years at the University of Groningen, involving significant project management and research responsibilities. Chiara is pursuing a Master in Diplomacy at ISPI School after obtaining a Master's in Sustainable Development and has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen.
