Giulia Salvetti

Giulia Salvetti serves as a Youth Officer at the United Nations since September 2022, focusing on facilitating coordination among UN agencies in Brussels and supporting youth organizations in advocacy and policy work. Concurrently, Giulia holds the position of Youth and Education Officer with the UN Environment Programme, advocating for environmental education and youth engagement across the EU. Previously, Giulia worked at UNICEF Italia as an International Advocacy and Youth Engagement Specialist, where the launch of the #CambiamoARIA campaign and collaboration with youth representatives on climate issues were key responsibilities. Giulia's early career includes roles in research and advocacy related to children’s rights and migrant assistance, along with coaching rowing teams and volunteering in various capacities. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Cooperation from ISPI School and advanced studies in Humanities and Social Sciences from Sapienza Università di Roma.
