Associate Programme Officer - Circular Economy Of Plastics

Idun Rognerud currently serves as an Associate Expert within the INC Secretariat at the UN Environment Programme, focusing on negotiations for a legally binding instrument to combat plastic pollution and providing substantive documentation for related processes. Earlier experience includes roles as a trainee in environmental engineering and water management with local municipalities, research internships focusing on water-related policies, and a solid educational background with a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and another from The University of Edinburgh.
