Anumita Sarkar

Anumita Sarkar is a Strategic Development and Partnership Officer at the Centre for Communication Governance since November 2022, focusing on data governance, platform regulation, and emerging technologies in the context of Indian and global IT law and policy. Sarkar serves as a member of the AIMA Young Leaders Council and the Anti-Corruption Collective Action Working Group with the UN Global Compact Network India. In addition, Sarkar holds leadership roles within the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, acting as State Vice President for External Affairs in Delhi. Sarkar is a founder and legal advisor at Prabhavee, a social impact organization, while also mentoring scholars through programs at IDIA and the Global Campus of Human Rights. Previously, Sarkar was involved in business development and consulting roles across various sectors, including education and social entrepreneurship, and continues to pursue advanced education in management and strategic communication.
