Dr. Kyle Farrell

Senior Urban & Regional Economist at UN-Habitat

Dr. Kyle Farrell is a Senior Urban & Regional Economist at UN-Habitat since June 2019 and has served as a Managing Partner at Economic Pulse Analytics since January 2020. Previous roles include Lecturer and Research Fellow at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018, Graduate Research Fellow at Harvard University in the Department of Economics during 2017-2018, and Political Economist at UN-Habitat from 2012 to 2016. Earlier experiences include positions as a Research Associate at UNIDO and an intern at UN-Habitat. Dr. Farrell also worked in communications at Port Metro Vancouver and as a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Farrell holds a PhD in Urban & Regional Studies from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has earned degrees from Harvard University, The University of Sheffield, Simon Fraser University, and is presently a student at Beijing Language and Culture University.
