Evandro Holz

Evandro Holz is an experienced professional in urban development and management, currently serving as an International Technical Advisor at UN-Habitat since September 2017, providing technical oversight for the Regional Office for Africa and supporting various housing initiatives. Holz has held multiple roles within UN-Habitat, including country coordinator for Cabo Verde and a focus on normative and operational work in housing and urban development. As the CEO and co-founder of ClUrb, Holz develops affordable software solutions for urban management. Additionally, experience includes consulting work as a freelance expert on urban and international development, and expertise in housing finance obtained during a tenure at The World Bank. Holz co-founded IAUAI gGmbH, a nonprofit focused on urbanization proposals, and served as a Climate Change Finance Specialist at GIZ. Holz's academic background includes a Master of Science in Urban Management from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
