Marcus Tudehope serves as the Deputy Head of Country Programme at UN-Habitat, overseeing operations and programs in Yemen since December 2023. Prior to this role, Marcus held the position of Senior Project Manager at HiiL from November 2019 to November 2023, where responsibilities included project management, quality assurance, and risk management. Marcus previously worked at UN-Habitat in various roles from April 2015 to November 2019, contributing to program management and data-driven advocacy in Afghanistan. Earlier experience includes Project Director at ATR Consulting, Project Officer at Sahmakum Teang Tnaut, and Project Manager with Global Citizens for Sustainable Development. Marcus began a career in urban planning as an Urban Planning Officer for the City of Canning from 2006 to 2010. Education includes a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Amsterdam and further studies in Applied Anthropology & Participatory Development and Urban and Regional Planning.
