Shipra Narang Suri has extensive experience in the field of urban planning and development. Shipra has held various roles within the United Nations and other organizations, including Chief of the Urban Practices Branch at UN-Habitat, Coordinator of the Urban Planning and Design Branch at UN-Habitat, and International Urban Consultant for multiple UN agencies and private sector organizations. Shipra has also served as Vice-President of ISOCARP, the General Assembly of Partners/Habitat III, and the World Urban Campaign. Shipra has a strong background in advocacy, consensus-building, and partnership development related to urban issues. Additionally, Shipra has been involved in conducting assessments of local governance, providing technical assistance, and promoting participatory planning approaches at both national and international levels. Shipra Narang Suri has a Ph.D. in Post-war recovery studies from the University of York, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. Shipra obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Planning from CEPT University, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Shipra also holds a Bachelor's degree in Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Shipra'seducation began at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, where they studied Science with technical drawing from 1985 to 1992.
