Aya Takeuchi

Aya Takeuchi is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the realm of gender equality and private sector engagement. Currently serving as a Due Diligence Analyst at UN Women since January 2020, Aya has held various roles within the organization, including Private Sector Coordination Consultant and Junior Consultant in Individual Giving. Prior to this, experience includes assistant director at Music for SDGs and roles at Japan Society, Catalyst Inc., and The International Academic Forum, among others. Aya holds a Master's degree in Global Affairs with a focus on Global Gender Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociolinguistics from Sugiyama Jogakuen University, complemented by studies through exchange programs in Linguistics, Sociology, and Teaching Assistantship.
