Janelle Weissman

Janelle Weissman currently serves as Head of External Relations at UN Women's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, managing a diverse team focused on regional partnerships, strategic communications, and advocacy for gender equality. Previously, Janelle held roles including Global Campaigns Manager and Head of Individual, Digital and Public Giving at UN Women, directing fundraising and campaign efforts globally. With a strong background in leadership, Janelle was an Executive Director for UN Women Australia and Social Venture Partners Boulder County, and previously served as Director of Communications and Development at Family Planning Queensland. Janelle's academic credentials include a Master’s in International Studies with a focus on Peace and Conflict Resolution, along with a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies.
