Gender Adviser, UN Women Gender Advisory Mission To Rohingy Response Programme In Cox's Bazar at UN Women

Tapati Saha is a seasoned professional with significant experience in gender equality and women's empowerment. Currently serving as Programme Manager for the Economic Empowerment of Women at UN Women since September 2013, Tapati manages key thematic areas aimed at implementing global normative policies at the national level. In a previous role as Gender Adviser for the Rohingya Response Programme, technical assistance was provided to promote gender equality within the crisis response efforts. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant for the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat, where Tapati led initiatives to enhance the accountability of women parliamentarians in advocating for gender equality. Earlier career contributions also include serving as a Gender Specialist at Cowater International Inc., advising the Government of Bangladesh on integrating gender mainstreaming into policy and planning. Tapati holds a Master of Science in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Dhaka.
