Zakia Azzam Kronfol

Zakia Azzam Kronfol is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a UNV Programme and Communications Associate at UN Women, where technical support for the WPHF programme is provided. With a background spanning various roles, Zakia has previously held positions such as Communications Coordinator and Volunteering Focal Point at Amel Association International, where comprehensive communication strategies were developed, and Projects Consultant with Global Steps NGO, focusing on project evaluations and research. Additional experience includes roles as CSR and Media Coordinator at Swell Group, Junior Social Worker at Rescue ME - Lebanon, Senior Reporter and News Editor at the Asian Society Information Agency, and News Anchor at Al Yasaria TV. Zakia holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and possesses two bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Education from Damascus University and Arab Open University, respectively.
