Mallory Daries

Mallory Daries has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mallory began their career as a Software Developer at Centre de Robotique et de Vision Industrielles inc. in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Insurance Claim Manager at MMA Insurance for a brief period. Mallory then transitioned to Open Wide in 2015, where they completed an Engineering Internship focused on Embedded Linux Development and connectivity.

In the same year, Mallory also worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at AUSY, where they contributed to the ATSU project for Airbus A320 aircraft. Mallory executed the full V-Cycle for the project, including business requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and documentation.

From 2016 to 2019, Mallory held positions at Sigfox, a cellular network operator for IoT communication. Mallory started as an Operations Support Engineer and later became an Operations and Customer Support Manager Americas, where they supervised the deployment and operations of the Sigfox network in the region. Mallory also trained partners, represented customers and operations, and actively contributed to service improvement. During their time at Sigfox, they achieved positive results, such as onboarding and supporting multiple operators, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and optimizing network equipment processes.

Most recently, Mallory joined UnaBiz in 2022 as a Solutions Architect and Account Manager Americas. In this role, they are responsible for providing pre-sales support, supporting clients with IoT solution architecture and adoption, and offering technical support to operators and key customers in the region.

Mallory Daries completed their education with a DUT (Technical degree specialized in computer science and embedded systems) from La Rochelle Université in the years 2010 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science with a specialization in Embedded systems from ENSIM Ecole d'ingénieurs Le Mans Université from 2012 to 2015. In 2014 to 2015, Mallory had the opportunity to study at Paderborn University as part of an Erasmus semester, where they obtained a Master 2 in Computer Science focusing on Embedded systems and System Software.
