Anne-Claire Guichard has over two decades of experience in policy development and communication within international organizations, particularly with UNAIDS since 2005. In the role of Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Communications Policy Advisor, Anne-Claire has been instrumental in developing strategic communications, leading internal communications initiatives, and guiding policy content. Previous positions at UNAIDS include Programme Coordination Advisor, where key policies and high-level events were coordinated, and a focus on human rights and HIV. Earlier roles as Junior Researcher at Maison des Sciences de l'Homme and Project Officer at Hansard Society complemented an academic foundation with a BSc in Law and Government from The London School of Economics and a Master's in Law and Public Administration from Sciences Po.

The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) leads and inspires the world to achieve its shared vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths. UNAIDS unites the efforts of 11 UN organizations—UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, UNFPA, UNODC, UN Women, ILO, UNESCO, WHO and the World Bank—and works closely with global and national partners towards ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
