Francisco Martínez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, procurement, and project management within international organizations. Since August 2009, Francisco has served as the Regional Operations Manager for UNAIDS, overseeing operations in the Eastern and Southern Africa region across 18 country offices. Prior roles include Procurement and Travel Specialist at UNAIDS, where responsibilities included policy development and operational efficiency in procurement and travel. Francisco's earlier experience includes positions at UNOPS and UNFPA, highlighting expertise in business processes and IT services, along with foundational roles at Assist. Francisco holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Licenciatura in Computer Science from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, as well as an accounting degree from Escuela Dr. Rodolfo Robles.
