Julia Seltzer

Principal User Experience Designer at Unanet

Julia Seltzer has a diverse range of work experience. Julia began their career as a Team Project Designer at Quality of Life Technology in 2012, where they worked on a design project to change children's eating behaviors. In the same year, they also interned at Cosential, conducting research and assisting in the design of software packages for architecture, engineering, and construction firms.

In 2013, Julia worked as a Photojournalist for Produce Business Magazine, documenting the post-Apartheid actions of South African citrus growers. Julia was also a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business during that time.

Julia's involvement in the Impact Design program at the School of Visual Arts in 2013 allowed their to collaborate with design professionals and tackle urgent problems for non-profit organizations in the New York area.

Since 2014, Julia has been focused on user experience design. Julia started as a User Experience Designer at Unanet and eventually progressed to the role of Senior User Experience Designer. Currently, they hold the position of Principal User Experience Designer at Unanet.

Julia Seltzer received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Wilton High School in an unspecified year. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2021.
