Leah Buccellato

Leah Buccellato is the current VP of People at Unbabel. Leah has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Development. Leah has a proven track record in building and scaling high performing teams.

Prior to joining Unbabel, Leah was the Head of HR at BBH London, one of the world’s most famous creative advertising agencies. During their time at BBH, Leah was responsible for leading the implementation of the HR function and setting up processes for recruitment, induction, retention, benefits and employee relations.

Before their time at BBH, Leah worked as an HR Manager at The App Business, where they were responsible for leading the implementation of the HR function and setting up processes for recruitment, induction, retention, benefits and employee relations.

Leah has a degree in Human Resources from the University of California, Berkeley.

Leah Buccellato has a Diploma in HR Practice from CIPD and a BA in Psychology, English from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Leah Buccellato reports to Vasco Pedro, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with James Palmer - CFO, Kerry Scobie - VP, Community, and Jennifer Bers - CRO.
