Renan Vasconcelos

Renan Vasconcelos has extensive work experience as a software engineer and developer. Renan started their career as an Intern Software Engineer at Fundacao Coppetec, where they developed tools for data extraction and transformation using Java. Renan then worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Marinha do Brasil and a Software Developer at COPPE / UFRJ. Renan later joined Delphos S.A. as a Systems Analyst, where they managed and developed data warehouse systems using Pentaho BI Platform and Oracle Database. Renan also customized web pages using JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS technologies. In 2015, they joined Órama Investimentos as a Software Engineer, and in 2018, they joined Unbabel as a Full Stack Developer. Renan quickly progressed to the role of Tech Lead and then Senior Engineering Lead at Unbabel.

Renan Vasconcelos completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in the years 2007 to 2011. Renan pursued further studies and obtained a Masters in Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Reuse from COPPE/UFRJ from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they have completed certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019 and the UCI Project Management certification through University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education on Coursera in 2022.
