Ilona Chavasse

Ilona Chavasse is an experienced professional in rights management and literary translation, currently serving as Head of Rights at Unbound.com since September 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing all subsidiary rights for a diverse range of publications. Prior to this role, Ilona held positions such as Rights Director at Oneworld Publications Limited and Atlantic Books Ltd., successfully establishing in-house rights functions and managing subsidiary rights for award-winning titles. In addition to rights management, Ilona has been a translator from Russian to English since 2004, with notable translations including works by Yuri Rytkheu. Academic credentials include a BA in English and History from Vassar College and a Master's degree in English Literature from UCL and the University of Oxford.
