Nick Capito

Nick Capito has held various positions in the tech industry since 2001. Theircareer began as a Professional Mover at Collegiate Movers in 2001. In 2005, they became a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. In 2007, they joined Amentra Inc, A Red Hat Company as a Consultant, helping companies improve their software with technology stacks consisting of C# ASP. NET/WCF, Python (Django, QPID, MRG Messaging), ETL, to JBoss custom app stacks. In 2008, they worked as a Consultant at JM Family Enterprises, where they implemented a real time messaging system and modernized a mainframe system into a full fledge . NET stack. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Software Consultant & Principal Owner at LeanWorks Consulting. Finally, from 2013 to present, Nick has held various roles at Unboxed Technology, including Chief Technology Officer, VP Software Engineering, Director of Software Engineering, and Manager of Technology.

Nick Capito graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics (Double). Prior to that, they attended Northside High School from 1998 to 2001. Nick also holds a Microsoft Learning Honor Code Certificate for Microsoft Azure Storage from Microsoft.
