Daniel Inayat "D.I." von Briesen has extensive experience in academia, technology, and management consulting. Currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since August 2020, Daniel teaches programming and web applications. As a Professor of Information Technology at CPCC since 2001, Daniel has held various roles including IT Faculty, Futures Institute Chief Sweeper, and Web Technologies Program Chair, contributing to innovative educational initiatives and technology integration. Daniel is also a Principal at gDwell, a non-profit focused on sustainable development, and the Owner of KNEDIT, LLC, providing management consulting and training services. Previous positions include Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Manager of Product Development at LearningStation, Inc. Daniel holds multiple degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Virginia, along with valuable life experiences that inform a commitment to education and community engagement.
