Nicole Peterson

Nicole Peterson is an Associate Professor at UNC Charlotte, a position held since August 2010. Previously, Peterson served as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the AAAS from September 2015 to August 2016 and worked as an affiliated researcher at the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions from 2005 to 2014, where roles included associate research scientist and postdoctoral researcher. Additionally, Peterson was a visiting assistant professor at Barnard College from 2009 to 2010. Educational credentials include a PhD in Anthropology from UC San Diego, obtained in 2005, and a BA in Biochemistry from Rice University, earned in 1997.
