Allison Barnes Baranowski is the Assistant Vice President of Events at UNC Health Foundation, a position held since June 2019, following roles as Director of Special Events with the same organization and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With experience in event management dating back to their position as Event Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2013 to June 2019, Baranowski has demonstrated expertise in donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognizing gifts through strategic event planning. Prior experience includes roles at the Institute for the Arts and Humanities and FOX Sports Florida, as well as involvement with UNC Swimming & Diving as an Undergraduate Assistant Coach and serving as the American Director for Coach for College. Baranowski holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2011.
