Anthony Lindsey

Chief Medical Officer at UNC Health

Anthony Lindsey is Executive Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer, UNC Health Care, and Professor of Psychiatry. In his role as Executive Associate Dean, Dr. Lindsey is responsible for representing the Dean on matters relating to the clinical activities of the medical school faculty. As Chief Medical Officer, he coordinates all UNC Hospitals medical staff committees, chairs the Medical Staff Executive Committee and represents the medical staff at the Health Care System Board. He also is responsible for patient quality and safety and oversight of the medical staff appointment and peer review processes. In his UNC Health Care system role, he serves as Chair of the Chief Medical Officer Roundtable, and is responsible for coordination of hospital quality improvement, credentialing and clinical integration.
