Gary Gartner

Gary Gartner, MD, MS, currently serves as the Analytical Solutions Manager for Enterprise Analytics and Data Sciences at UNC Health Care since December 2019, focusing on advanced analytics solutions to improve patient care. Previously, Gartner held several key positions at NextGen Healthcare and Allscripts, including VP of Clinical Solutions, where strategic product management and user-centered design were emphasized. Gartner’s extensive background in clinical informatics is complemented by roles that include User Experience Clinician and Clinical Architect, contributing to initiatives in clinical decision support and EHR usability. Prior experience also includes positions at Canopy Systems, A4 Health Systems, and Future Healthcare, along with a foundation in pediatrics from various institutions. Gartner holds an MD from UNC School of Medicine and an MS in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Informatics from the same institution, along with an AB in Chemistry from Duke University.
