Nicole F.

Nicole F. is a highly experienced healthcare professional specializing in critical care and sexual assault nursing. Currently serving as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at UNC Health since July 2022, Nicole provides compassionate care and medical forensic evaluations to victims of sexual violence across North Carolina. Previously, as a Registered Nurse in various intensive care units, Nicole managed complex medical cases and collaborated with healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care. In addition to clinical roles, Nicole has a strong commitment to advocacy, serving as a volunteer for Guardian Ad Litem and previously holding leadership positions with organizations like CARE and the Triangle Global Health Consortium. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the UNC School of Medicine, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand.
