Tyler Brookshire

Tyler Brookshire is an Anesthesiology Resident at UNC Health, having started the role in June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica from May 2018 to July 2019, which provided insights into primary care and the physician-patient relationship while highlighting common chronic conditions. Tyler also worked as a Laboratory Technician at the UNC Chapel Hill Department of Physics and Astronomy from May 2017 to May 2018, focusing on traction force microscopy. Earlier, Tyler volunteered at the UNC Medical Center Emergency Department from September 2015 to July 2016. Tyler earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University between 2019 and 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained in 2018.
