Veda Muppala

Veda Muppala is an undergraduate researcher at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, working in Dr. Bryant's Lab since September 2024. Concurrently, Veda serves as an English 105i Peer Mentor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on enhancing students’ writing skills in healthcare-related fields, and as a DEI Fellow, engaging in leadership development and community-based learning. Previous experience includes a PRSTP internship at the UAB O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, co-presidency of VT Seva from December 2016 to June 2023, a student observership at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graphic design for Wisteria Magazine, and a summer internship at the University of Rochester. Veda's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an Associate of Science from Central Piedmont Community College, and a diploma from Ardrey Kell High School.
