Jeff Vandrew Jr

Jeff Vandrew Jr. serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Unchained since August 2021, where additional roles include General Counsel, Head of Legal, and Head of Retirement and Inheritance. As a Board Member at Gannett Trust Company since June 2025, Jeff contributes valuable insights to the organization. Previously, Jeff founded KeyKeeper IRA, which was acquired by Unchained, and pioneered an innovative IRA structure that enabled investors to hold bitcoin while retaining control of their private keys. From February 2008 to August 2021, Jeff was the Managing Member of Vandrew Law Firm, a boutique firm specializing in self-directed retirement and hard money lending. Jeff holds a JD from Rutgers Law School and a BA in Spanish from Rutgers University.
