Christiana Bakare, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Business Operations at Uncommon Cures, LLC, since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Children's National Hospital as Program Lead and Program Coordinator from November 2020 to July 2023, and as Manager of Resource Mobilization/Membership Relations at the Initiative for Global Development from March 2019 to August 2019. Christiana's career also includes serving as a Program Assistant for the European Union Development Fund at GOPA Consultants from May 2016 to February 2019 and as a Project Assistant at the Economic Community of West African States from February 2013 to May 2016, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, project quality development, and fundraising. Christiana Bakare earned an MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2022 and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2010.

Uncommon Cures® was launched in 2023 with the mission to streamline orphan drug clinical development, which is unnecessarily slow, expensive, and likely to fail due to non-drug factors. Rather, it is a Clinical Research Program providing thought partnership and an efficient end-to-end solution called Uncommon Sense™ covering activities throughout orphan drug clinical development, including all legacy CRO and study site functions. By optimizing the clinical development process and prioritizing patient well-being, Uncommon Cures® aims to bring life-changing therapies to patients faster and more efficiently.
