Laura Lee McGovern

Laura Lee McGovern currently serves as Chief of Staff and Strategy at Uncommon Schools, having joined the organization in July 2009. Prior to this role, Laura held various positions including Chief Operating Officer of Uncommon New York City and former Chief of Staff and Strategy. Laura co-founded Kings Collegiate Charter School, serving as Founding Co-Director from October 2006 to July 2009. Additional experience includes a role as Director of Analytics at the New York City Department of Education and as Engagement Manager at Katzenbach Partners LLC. Laura earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Social Studies from Harvard University.
