Santiago Fernandez de Cordoba is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in international economics and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Senior Economist and Head of the UNCTAD Sustainability Standards Program since January 2011, Santiago also holds the role of UNFSS Coordinator. Prior to this, Santiago worked as an economist at the United Nations and was the UNCTAD NY Alternate Representative from May 2006 to December 2010. From March 2000 to April 2006, Santiago was an Associate Economist at UNCTAD, and previously held management consulting positions at Value Partners and Banco del Pacifico. Santiago's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Luiss Guido Carli University and the International Baccalaureate from Kungsholmen Gymnasium. Additionally, Santiago is currently continuing education at Georgetown University.
