Toni Pence

Toni Pence currently serves as the Department Chair and Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a position held since July 2015. Prior to this role, Toni Pence was an Assistant Professor and held the position of Interim Department Chair at UNCW. Experience at Clemson University includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teacher of Record, and Mentor for the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program from May 2009 to August 2015. Additionally, Toni Pence participated in undergraduate research at UNC Charlotte during the summers of 2007 and 2008. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Clemson University (2015), a Master's degree from Clemson University (2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Winthrop University (2008).
