David Rosenblum

David Rosenblum serves as the Planning Research Corporation Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University since July 2020, overseeing a department with over 80 faculty and a student body exceeding 3,300. Previously, from April 2011 to July 2020, David was the Dean of the School of Computing and Director of the NUS-Singtel Cyber Security R&D Laboratory at the National University of Singapore, managing significant corporate research initiatives and leading the development of innovative degree programs. David's extensive academic career includes a position as Chair Professor at University College London, where leadership in software systems and successful collaborations significantly advanced research output. David's foundational experience includes roles at AT&T Bell Laboratories, UC Irvine, and Stanford University, complemented by a strong educational background with multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from Stanford University and the University of North Texas.
