Bedi Egilmez

Bedi Egilmez has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2011. In 2011, they were a Software Development Intern at Yogurt Technologies, a software development company focused on development of a 3D physics engine based on Adobe Flash. At Mekanist.net, they were a Software Developer from 2012 to 2015, and Mekanist was the first Turkish startup to receive VC financing from Silicon Valley. In 2016, Bedi was a Data Scientist at Eksi Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Udacity, first as a Data Scientist and then as a Technical Program Manager. Currently, Bedi is a Data Scientist at Underground Cellar.

Bedi Egilmez received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koç University between 2008 and 2012. Bedi then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Big Data Science at Queen Mary University of London between 2014 and 2015. Additionally, they have two certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust - WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.
